Kingairloch House, built as the Laird’s residence in the nineteenth century, sits in a commanding position at the head of Loch a’Choire in the centre of the Estate. Far reaching views to the mountains of Argyll and the surrounding glens and hills of Kingairloch can be seen over the mature lawns, walled garden and lower gardens.
As the principal house of the Estate, Kingairloch House has been furnished with great style, and designed for comfort. The rooms to the front of the property benefit from bay windows, allowing the fabulous scenery to be enjoyed – even on the wettest of days!
The house comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests in six individually designed en-suite rooms, each with its’ own breathtaking view to wake up to. Downstairs a main lounge and dining room provide the perfect entertaining space, whilst a separate sitting room allows for a quiet corner to catch up on a good book. At the centre of the kitchen is a four-oven Aga that is ideal for cooking for larger groups, and gives great warmth to thaw out against after a day on the hill! A separate games room also provides entertainment with a three-quarter size snooker table. Up to three dogs are allowed (only in downstairs rooms) for a tariff of £24/pet.
Guests staying in Kingairloch House can also have their stay fully catered and serviced. Prices start at £7,000/week for more information, please email the office.
