A Fresh Start at the Boathouse Restaurant

Since reopening in April, the Boathouse Restaurant has been thriving under the care of our fantastic new team, bringing fresh energy and flavour to the shores of Kingairloch — just in time for a summer of relaxed, seasonal dining by the water.
Leading our kitchen is Owen, whose menus celebrate the very best of our surroundings. With beef, lamb and venison from Kingairloch and fresh seafood from the West Coast of Scotland, our talented chef brings creativity and care to every plate, ensuring each dish is as fresh and local as it gets.
Out front, you’ll be welcomed by Ella. With her friendly approach and eye for detail, she’s here to make each visit personal and memorable, and is passionate about offering a truly personal experience, from remembering your favourite table to recommending the perfect wine pairing.
There are a few updates inside, but the same warm, welcoming atmosphere awaits you, with the relaxed charm and stunning views you know and love. Whether you’re exploring the estate or planning ahead, we’re ready to welcome you — and we’re planning a calendar of special evenings in the months ahead, including a series of themed Friday nights beginning 4th July. The first will be Curry Night, with Tapas, Thai, Greek and Italian evenings to follow. Keep an eye on our social media for confirmed dates and details!

The Boathouse is open Thursday to Sunday with food service times as follows:
Thursday to Saturday:
- Coffee and cake: from 11am onwards
- Lunch: 12 noon – 2pm (last service)
- Dinner: 6pm – 9pm (last service)
Sunday Roast:
- Coffee and cake: from 11am onwards
- Roast: 12 noon – 4pm (last service)
