Elopements at Kingairloch

Thank you for your interest in having your wedding at Kingairloch. We are a small venue suited for couples looking to start married life with their nearest and dearest friends and family in the romantic wilds of The Highlands. Weddings can take place all year round, you can choose to have just a weekend celebration or come and stay with us for seven nights and immerse yourselves in the rugged beauty of the estate.

The Ceremony

With the attendance of a registrar, couples can be married in Kingairloch House or should the weather be kind, in the surrounding gardens. For religious ceremonies, there is also the charming Kingairloch Church that is located right on the shore of Loch Linnhe. A third option is to have a humanist celebration where the ceremony itself can be conducted anywhere on the estate.

Your Elopement

The night before you say “I do” the bride and her wedding party are welcome to stay in Kingairloch House. Two rooms are available on a bed and breakfast basis, with the bridal suite having superior views of Loch Linnhe and Castle Stalker. Other members of the wedding celebrations can choose to stay in our charming self catering cottages that are located throughout the estate.

You have the option to have a pre-wedding evening celebratory meal in the delightful Boathouse or group together in one of our self catering properties.

Wedding ceremonies are to take place between 1pm and 5pm with the reception either being in the dining room of Kingairloch House, the ceilidh hall next to Kingairloch House or in The Boathouse. Carriages are to be before 11:30pm.
