Seasonal Chef, with/without an Assistant (or Couple)
The Boathouse Restaurant at Kingairloch Estate, sitting on the shoreline of Loch a’Choire on the Morvern Peninsula, is offering a seasonal position for an experienced chef, or chef and front of house couple, from March to October 2026. The restaurant serves guests from eight holiday cottages, passing yachts that use its six moorings, and the local community.
Kingairloch Estate is renowned for offering exceptional quality Highland getaways, and the restaurant reflects this by focusing on produce that is local, sustainable, and estate-sourced. Beef and lamb are raised on the estate, venison is taken from the surrounding hills, and fruit and vegetables come from the walled garden.
This position is suited to a chef who values provenance and seasonality, and who can create menus that highlight the quality of the ingredients available. It is a practical opportunity to live and work in a remote but well supported environment, with a clear focus on delivering excellent food, and comes with modern on-site accommodation and the chance to work in one of Scotland’s most distinctive rural settings.
