New Bookings Procedure

The estate is certainly very quiet without our lovely visitors. Susan has been very busy in the walled garden planting up the pollytunnel to keep her spirits up; we will certainly have a bumper crop of produce this year! The red stags are losing their antlers and during Buttons’ walk, many are being found on the estate.

With time on our hands, we have discussed how we can continue to take bookings, but to also help our customers out in these uncertain times. We can imagine that guests will be wanting to book holidays, but do not want to commit to paying deposits. Additionally, travel insurance companies are not at the moment covering new bookings placed under the current situation.

We anticipate that we will be able to have visitors again from July onwards (fingers crossed!). For any new booking placed for this year and also for 2021, instead of paying a deposit straight away, we are happy to hold dates provisionally until travel restrictions are lifted. When you place a booking through our website, select the method of payment as “provisional”. When we have been given the all clear, we will then write to our customers asking for deposits to be settled.

We hope to see you all very soon.
