A date is yet to be set for our re-opening in 2019
As the name suggests, this building was a former boathouse used to house launch boats from steam yachts that visited the estate in the Victorian era. When roads where built to Kingairloch, steam yachts became obsolete and the boathouse became a redundant building.
In 2008 the building underwent major renovation works to turn a severely derelict shell of a building into a delightful romantic bistro that is well supported by guests, locals and visiting yachts.
If you are coming by sea, there are no longer visitor moorings.
