The Walled Garden

A magnificent and serene oasis encircled by historical stone walls that produces a wide variety of ethically and sustainably grown flowers, herbs, vegetables and fruits.

The Walled Garden Produce

During the summer months we offer the residents of our holiday cottages vegetable boxes filled with fresh produce grown in the Walled Garden on Kingairloch Estate.

All our vegetables at Kingairloch are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or any artificial fertilisers. Veg boxes will include a variety of seasonal vegetables subject to availability.

Produce is available from 1 May with peak growing season from June onwards. Boxes are suitable for 2 persons and provide enough veg for at least a few days.

Vegetable boxes cost £15 each, and cottage residents are most welcome to stop by the Walled Garden for a top up throughout their stay.

To place your order please contact [email protected] at least 2 days in advance of your arrival day. Guests can now also purchase their veg boxes online when making their booking, or they can also amend their current reservation to include a veg box by going to the ‘Manage My Booking’ section on their booking confirmation email.

Outside of the summer season (and almost through the whole year thanks to our polytunnel and coastal location!) we will also have seasonal produce for sale for guests to enjoy. Please look out for information that will be available in your holiday cottage on arrival to the estate.

A wonderful Christmas Getaway: This was our 4th visit to Kingairloch but our first in the Old School.

We arrived two adults two dogs on Christmas Eve for a weeks stay. Everything was spotless and nice and warm.

Very comfortable settees and bed. Fluffy pillows and massive soft towels. Everything you need and like all the cottages great views.

We did some walks around the estate. Twice we saw Otters on the approach road where the wall is.

Lots of magnificent stags some even right next to the cottage. Visited every night by a Pine Martin and one night he brought a friend.

Golden eagles in the bay. A big thank you Bob and Kevin who helped me out when our car got stuck.
