Find out moreChristmas in Kingairloch: We decided to do something different this year and we stayed in Curlew Cottage, on the estate.
It was a beautiful location with wonderful scenery from every window of the cottage.
We saw a fair bit of wildlife, even at that time of year, but really enjoyed the 'garden visitor' on our last morning.
There was the most beautiful, calm stag having his breakfast in the garden. I even ventured outside to get clearer photos and he seemed totally unaware of my existence (although I'm sure he wasn't)!
The cottages were recommended to me by a very good friend and I would have no hesitation at passing this recommendation on.
